Take a trip around the world for $5 without ever leaving the Capital Region. Get a glimpse of the world at the 48th annual Festival of Nations on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Empire State Plaza’s Convention Center in Albany. Participants from 24 nations will showcase their arts, craft, dance, music and food from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The above photo shows contestants vying for the title of Miss Festival of Nations 2019 Pageant.
