Reg­is­tra­tion open for 72nd Troy Tur­key Trot: Reg­is­tra­tion is open at www. troy­turkeytrot.com. Cost is $35 and $15 re­spec­tively on Oct. 22.

In-per­son reg­is­tra­tion along with bib and t-shirt pick up will be held at the Troy Atrium (4 Third Street) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun­day, Nov. 24 and Wed­nes­day, Nov. 27. Day-of-event reg­is­tra­tion for all events will be­gin at 6:30 a.m. to 15 min­utes prior to each event on the sec­ond floor of the Troy Atrium with a day-of fee of $40 and $15.

Adiron­dack Thun­der to of­fer se­nior ticket discount: The Adiron­dack Thun­der and The Wes­ley Com­mu­nity an­nounced that they will once again team up to of­fer se­niors a spe­cial sav­ings on tick­ets to see the Glens Falls-based ECHL af­fil­i­ate of the New Jersey Devils.

For the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive sea­son, se­niors ages 55 and older will receive a $2 discount on full-price tick­ets to 2019-20 reg­u­lar sea­son Adiron­dack Thun­der home games, cour­tesy of The Wes­ley Com­mu­nity. The discount is avail­able ex­clu­sively at the Up­state Chevy Deal­ers Box Of­fice at Cool In­sur­ing Arena (with valid proof of iden­ti­fi­ca­tion). The sav­ings is ef­fec­tive on tick­ets pur­chased in ad­vance or on the day of the game.

Elks Hoop Shoot to be Held on Novem­ber 16: Saratoga-Wil­ton Elks Lodge No. 161 will hold its an­nual Hoop Shoot bas­ket­ball free throw shoot­ing com­pe­ti­tion on Satur­day, Novem­ber 16, 2019, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Christo­pher Dai­ley Gym, Gavin Park, at 10 Lewis Drive in

Wil­ton. This event is free and open to boys and girls ages 8-13. Boys and girls will be di­vided into sep­a­rate di­vi­sions and by age groups of 8-9 year olds, 1011 year olds and 12-13 year olds. Par­tic­i­pants’ el­i­gi­bil­ity will be de­ter­mined as of their age on April 1, 2020. Pre-reg­is­tra­tion is not re­quired, although the Town of Wil­ton Re­cre­ation Depart­ment is ac­cept­ing pre­reg­is­tra­tions at Gavin Park. Prizes will be awarded for 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd place win­ners in all age groups in both di­vi­sions. Lo­cal win­ners will ad­vance to the District Cham­pi­onship, and have the op­por­tu­nity to ad­vance to Re­gional, State and Na­tional Cham­pi­onship com­pe­ti­tions. Win­ter Skills Lacrosse Ses­sions: Sun­day, Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26, Feb. 9, 16, 23 ad March 1 with Rogue Lacrosse at the Wil­ton YMCA turf fa­cil­ity for two grade di­vi­sions — 3- through 8th grade and 9 through 12thgrade. Grade 3 to 8 will run 10 to 11:30 a.m. and grade 9 to 12 will be of­fered 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m..

Clifton Park boys win­ter rec bas­ket­ball: Reg­is­tra­tion for the Town of Clifton Park Boys Win­ter Re­cre­ation Bas­ket­ball League is now open. The pro­gram is open to all boys, Grades 2-12, re­sid­ing ei­ther in the Shen School District OR the Town of Clifton Park and not play­ing in Grades 8 &Un­der travel leagues.
