Woman fac­ing as­sault charges

CORINTH, N.Y. >> A do­mes­tic dis­pute led to the ar­rest of a Corinth woman.

Jayde L. Te­siero, 24, was ar­rested by State Po­lice re­spond­ing to a res­i­dence at 11:19 p.m. on Dec. 1 when an in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­vealed she at­tacked an in­di­vid­ual at the res­i­dence, caus­ing a sec­ond per­son to in­ter­vene and re­strain her un­til law en­force­ment ar­rived.

When at­tempt­ing to take her into cus­tody, po­lice said Te­siero resisted ar­rest, spit­ting at and at­tempt­ing to head­butt them.

Te­siero was suc­cess­fully se­cured, and trans­ported to State Po­lice in Saratoga for pro­cess­ing. She was charged with as­sault third de­gree, ob­struc­tion of gov­ern­men­tal ad­min­is­tra­tion sec­ond de­gree, and re­sist­ing ar­rest, all mis­de­meanors.

Te­siero was ar­raigned in Corinth Town Court and re­manded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,500 bond.

She is due back in court on Dec. 10.
