Woman facing assault charges
CORINTH, N.Y. >> A domestic dispute led to the arrest of a Corinth woman.
Jayde L. Tesiero, 24, was arrested by State Police responding to a residence at 11:19 p.m. on Dec. 1 when an investigation revealed she attacked an individual at the residence, causing a second person to intervene and restrain her until law enforcement arrived.
When attempting to take her into custody, police said Tesiero resisted arrest, spitting at and attempting to headbutt them.
Tesiero was successfully secured, and transported to State Police in Saratoga for processing. She was charged with assault third degree, obstruction of governmental administration second degree, and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.
Tesiero was arraigned in Corinth Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,500 bond.
She is due back in court on Dec. 10.
