CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. >> The winter weather made the Christian Brothers Academy trip to Shenendehowa one of the lone games on the docket Tuesday night in the Suburban Council and the Plainsmen provided the perfect storm against the Brothers, hitting 10 three-pointers on the night combined with a smothering and frustrating defense leading to a 62-40 victory.

“We’ve got so many guys hit them that we’re not shy about it,” Shenendehowa coach Tony Dzikas said. “I mean I’m confident we can shoot 35 to 40 percent from three point land with good looks and that equates to about 60 percent from two (point range. So we’ll play those percentages. We have guys that come off the bench and light up three or four.”

It wasn’t just how proficient the Shenendehowa (3-0 Suburban Council, 3-1 overall) was Tuesday night for its coach.
