Man charged with groping Uber driver
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. >> A Clifton Park man was arrested and charged with groping a female Uber driver while transporting him on state Route 146.
Jesse A. Foster, 27, is accused groping the driver and subjecting her to unwanted sexual contact as she provided him a ride home.
Police said the Uber driver stopped a New York State trooper who was conducting a traffic stop on state Route 146 in Clifton Park to ask for help removing a passenger from her vehicle.
When the officer approached the victim’s car and asked Foster to step out, police said the man became belligerent. Foster was taken into custody without incident, and was transported to State Police in Clifton Park for processing.
Foster was charged with two counts of forcible touching, a misdemeanor.
Foster was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in Clifton Park Town Court on Jan. 8.
