Sheriff’s Office seeks help finding missing man
STILLWATER, N.Y. >> The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for their assistance in discovering the whereabouts of a Stillwater man who has been missing since Jan. 15, 2019.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office received a report from concerned friends that Michael P. Ahern was missing. Ahern was known to reside at 16 Brickyard Road in the Town of Stillwater, and was last seen on Jan. 6, 2019.
Ahern had been a member of a motorcycle club called the Rolling Pride MC, which disbanded within weeks preceding his disappearance. The address at 16 Brickyard Road was formerly the Rolling Price MC clubhouse.
Ahern’s disappearance is being investigated as suspicious, as he was not known to be depressed or to have had any reason to leave the area without informing his family.
His vehicles and dog were found at the clubhouse without explanation or arrangements having been made for their care, and he never picked up the his prescriptions he was known to take.
Although one year has passed, the case is still active. Any information that could assist in solving this case and providing some closure to Michael’s family concerning his disappearance is appreciated.
The Sheriff’s Office has been assisted in the investigation by the New York State Police Forensic Identification Unit as well as the Major Crimes Unit.
If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Michael Ahern they are asked to contact Investigator Steve Brown at (518) 885-2471 or sbrown@saratogacountyny.gov.
