Saratoga Bridges to host Great Pumpkin Festival on Oct. 15
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> Saratoga Bridges invites the community to join them to run, walk, or roll at their 22nd annual Great Pumpkin Challenge on Oct. 15 at 9:30 am.
After two years of being virtual due to the pandemic, the popular 5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Runs will start and finish at the Columbia Pavilion in the Saratoga Spa State Park and is NET Chip timed.
This fundraiser benefits Saratoga Bridges’ essential nonfunded or underfunded services and assists with the ongoing unanticipated expenses incurred by COVID-19. Volunteers are needed as well.
Individuals, friends, families, coworkers, and corporate teams can register at saratogabridges. org. Registration must be completed by Oct 14, as there is no day-of registration. The entrance fee for the 5K and 10K runs is $25. The entrance fee for the Kids Fun Run (12 and under) is $10. The first 1,500 registered will receive a long-sleeve moisture-wicking shirt.
Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third males and females in each age group. There will be giveaways, homemade refreshments from the individuals they support, donated food and beverages from Hixny, Uncommon Grounds, Bimbo Bakeries USA, and Hannaford, and favorite pumpkin and costume contests.
