Restaurant Week kicks off in Watervliet today
WATERVLIET, N.Y. » Watervliet’s fourth annual Restaurant Week will be held Feb. 25 — March 2.
The weeklong event will showcase local restaurants offering special fixed menus. Participating restaurants typically set out, so reservations are strongly encouraged.
“Restaurant Week has been great for us these last few years. It not only brings new and existing customers out during a time of year that is typically slow, but it also allows us to incorporate foods we usually don’t serve with some of our everyday menu offerings. Being able to showcase what our pubs and restaurants in the city have to offer is a great opportunity and a win-win for everyone,” Kristin Donlon, owner of Patrick’s Pub, said in a news release.
“Teta Marie’s Lebanese Restaurant is honored to take part in our very first restaurant week here in Watervliet. Just opening our new location 6 months ago, we have had nothing but support from our city, community, and customers new and old. We are looking forward to serving up some home-style cooking for everyone, with new menu items, daily specials, and give-a-ways,” Teta Marie’s owners Brenda and Joseph Hage said in the release.
“Restaurant Week has been a huge boost for our restaurants. It really gives them the opportunity to highlight some favorites offered every day and to show off some other items that you don’t typically find on their menus,” Watervliet mayor Charles Patricelli said in the release.
