Ask the Designer
We are wanting to build a new home and though this is very exciting it is also a little unnerving. I have a hard time visualizing and the fear that I can really blow it is driving me wild
My sister recently remodeled her home in the Dallas area and she worked with an interior designer that offered a service that made her rooms come to life. She actually walked through her home in 3-D.
I was wondering if this type of technology is available here and I figured that if anyone was providing this service it would be you.
Please give me some ideas of how this process goes and I will be ready to sign the dotted line.
Sylvia Dear Sylvia,
Building a new home is really exciting! Watching a home take shape is a lot like watching a child grow up.
And you are also right that it can be a daunting task since every decision affects another one. But, that is why I am here. The entire Design Center is at your service.
The technology you are referring to is one of my favorites and my residential and commercial clients are thrilled with the ability to grasp completely what their spaces will be like. Just imagine this: We will open the entry door to your home and walk you through the rooms. You will see the paint and wallpaper on the walls. You will see the flooring in place, the lighting will be hung and your furnishings will be in place and you will even have your fabrics on the window treatments and the upholstery!
Think you may want to change the upholstery on your sofa? That’s not a problem.
Can you imagine walking into your home and seeing the lake or mountain view out your windows and being able to place your furnishings to take full advantage of that view? You will feel like you are there in person.
The technology we have is outstanding and we are ready to take the stress out of home building.
We will meet and view your plans, and begin the process of designing your home.
A 3-D walk through means no misunderstanding about how, where and what will be happening in your home.
I hope that I have answered your questions and that you are ready to bring your dreams to reality.
P.S. I think we should celebrate your home tour with my Arkansas Tomato Bread Pudding. Yum!
