Style Makeover: Hyp Boutique

Get a fresh start with a brand new look

- Story by Beth Bright

The life of an Emergency Room RN can often be hectic, but Abby Kaler's love of nursing paired with her calm spirit and intelligent sense of humor make her a welcome sight to those in need of care in the ER at National Park Medical Center.

When she's not working, Abby enjoys hiking, water skiing, practicing Pilates and the live music scene the Spa City is known for. Traveling with her companion, local attorney Brent Miller, and his talent for freestyle rapping are also atop her list of favorites.

“After long days and nights in the ER, I like an effortless, fun outfit that reflects my personality and has unique elements,” she said.

Knowing her personality, the stylists at Hyp Boutique put together the perfect date night look for Abby. Simple, yet dramatic, the blend of textures, classy color palette and cool style made this outfit a perfect for a night out in any big city or her hometown.

“I love the eclectic mood and style that Hyp Boutique offers and when you walk in Karen and Amy are always so helpful and pleasant no matter how busy they are,” Abby said. “If I am in the mood to simply browse and escape the day's stress with retail therapy, they totally get it, but let me know they are just a shout away.

“When I have an event or outfit emergency, their styling skills are natural and they quickly suggest a look on point with just the right amount of edge for me. With no intimidation These girls are great at nudging me out of my comfort zone by offering great insider styling tips. And as much as I love my outfits, I also love that the prices at Hyp are not intimidating.”

Adrianne Brooks, owner of Whiplash Beauty, used her product line to create a modern glam look for Abby with dramatic smokey eyes and pale lips. Mayra Godoy, stylist and partner at Entanglements Salon chose honey highlights and fresh bangs to frame Abby's face. Completing the look with a sultry touch, myra styled perfectly messy spiral curls for Abby.
