The current Republican Party has elected to reject valid economic theory and respond to the demands of the very wealthy who want to maintain their status quo while keeping the middle class down. They have been assisted by many who simply do not understand economics, or much else for that matter. They just seem to be united in their hatred of our president.

Our nation is indeed in trouble and unless we are able to move boldly forward into the future, we will succumb to the failures of the past – and this time there may not be a way out. Mike Nunn Hot Springs a silent auction, games and food, as well as learning activities – including community support from the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, Lifenet, Garland Country CARES, and Hot Springs/ Garland County Beautifica­tion Commission.

The PTO would like to thank everyone who donated their time and efforts to make this event a tremendous success: Hot Springs Pediatric Clinic, Coca- Cola Bottling Co. of Hot Springs, Sam’s Club, Middle School PBIS, Ann Hill, Tim Collier, KJ’S Grill, Park/ HSIS PTO, Jan Sligh, Harvest Foods on Airport Road, Sandy Sutton Interiors, Wal- Mart on Central, Taco Bell on Albert Pike, Merle Norman & More, Cranford Village Pantry, Purple Cow, Chick- fil- A, Hot Springs High School Jazz Band, Hot Springs High School ROTC and Corporal Andrews.

All the money raised from the event stayed at Hot Springs Middle School and is earmarked for technology and student/ community projects.
