Spring Arts and Crafts Fair set for Saturday
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE – The Coronado Community Center will hold a spring arts and crafts fair from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. Saturday.
The event will feature local and area vendors, and the Optimist Club will offer lunches for purchase.

Annual meeting
The Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association annual meeting will be held at 3 p. m. Monday at the Ponce De Leon Center in the Ouachita Building.
All property owners are urged to attend.
Awards, including Recognition Awards for individuals, committees, or groups that have provided outstanding service in support of the POA or HSV, will be presented, along with a President’s Award.

Coffee With GM
The next Coffee with General Manager Scott Randall is set for 9 a. m.. Friday at the Coronado Community Center.
All Hot Springs Village residents and property owners are encouraged to attend.
The informal meetings, which are intended to improve communications with residents and property owners, are open to discussion of any topic attendees wish to discuss with Randall.
Upcoming coffees are scheduled for June 8 at the Desoto Event Center, July 13, at the Ouachita Activities Building, at the Ponce de Leon Center, and Aug. 3, at the Coronado Community Center.

Meeting change
The monthly meeting of the Golf Committee is moving from the second Thursday to the third Thursday of every month.
The change will take effect for the May meeting, scheduled for 4 p. m. May 17. The Golf Committee meetings are held at Coronado Community Center.

Mowing program
The Hot Springs Village POA has started its annual mowing program, which will continue throughout the summer months.
Residents should use caution around the mowers and work crews. Drivers should keep a safe distance from the mower if it is moving. When able to do so, the mowers will pull over to allow vehicles to pass safely.
Due to safety concerns, mowers will concentrate on maintaining approximately 88 miles of major roadways.

Library hours
Beginning today, the Coronado Library will be open Monday- Friday, from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m., and Saturdays, from 9 a. m. to noon. The library is located at 150 Ponderosa Lane in the Coronado Community Center.

Ambassador program
The Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce is introducing a new ambassador program designed to create good will while representing the chamber in the community.
The board of directors recently approved the guidelines outlining the objectives and expectations of the ambassador program.
Applications are being taken for ambassadors and can be picked up at the chamber office or on the chamber website. Completed applications can be mailed to the chamber at P. O. Box 8575, Hot Springs Village, AR 71910.
Beatles Tribute Band to perform during British Week
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE – Beatles fans, young and old, will have an opportunity to attend performances of 1964 – The Tribute touted by Rolling Stone magazine as the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth.”
The concert will be held at 7: 30 p. m. June 6- 7 in the Woodlands Auditorium at the Ponce De Leon Center.

Commemorative Hot Springs Village British Week pub cups are available for $ 3 at the HSV Chamber of Commerce, Coronado Center, Diamante Country Club, Golf Pro Shops and the POA. Persons with the commemorative cups will be eligible for $ 2 pints of beer during British Week’s three Pub Crawl events.
The Pub Crawls will be held from 3- 7 p. m., June 1, 5 and 8 at Paradise Grill, The Pink Olive, The Balboa Club, Mulligans at Ponce, JK’S Columbus Grill, Cedar Mountain Sports Lounge & Restaurant and the Diamante Country Club.
