Festival musicians to perform at market
The Hot Springs Music Festival Brass Band will be present on Saturday and again on June 16 at the Historic Downtown Farmers and Artists Market, 121 Orange St.
The band will perform for early shoppers from 8- 8: 30 a. m.
The Garland County Library will read books for the Shade Tree StoryTime at 9 a. m. and 10 a. m.
Also, local guitarist and singer Max Sestili will entertain shoppers from 9: 30- 11 a. m. Saturday.
Doug Bunger, a local oil painter, will be painting at the market and Johnce Parrish will create portraits.
The local farmers will provide early summer crops of tomatoes, potatoes, yellow squash, green onions, lettuce, radishes, zucchini, chard, carrots, kohlrabi, cucumbers, blueberries, blackberries, and other freshpicked fruits and vegetables.
Several of the farmers will sell fresh eggs and range chicken.
Bake goods are available, including cinnamon rolls and fried pies.
Market hours are 7 a. m. to noon on Saturdays, from 5- 8 p. m. on Tuesdays, and from 7- 11 a. m. on Thursdays.
