All profits go to Garland County Habitat for Humanity in order to build houses. Humane Society of Garland County Thrift Store, 2026 Central Ave., in the Freeman Center, is open from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. Monday- Saturday. Donations of gently worn, clean clothing and shoes, jewelry, purses, antiques, home décor, household items, books and nonupholstered furniture in good condition are accepted. All proceeds contribute to the care, veterinarian fees and shelter for dogs and cats at the kennel facilities at 1249 Ault Loop, Lonsdale. Donations of dog and cat food and other miscellaneous pet supplies may be dropped off at the store. Free low- cost spay and neuter vouchers are available at the store.
