Standing committee applications accepted
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Hot Springs Village standing committees are now accepting applications.
Applications may be picked up in the general manager’s office, located on the second floor of the Administration Building, or downloaded from http:// www. hsvpoa. org.

Volunteers needed for Election Day panel
More volunteer applications are needed for the 2014 Election Day Committee, which oversees the ballot counting for the Hot Springs Village Board of Directors election.
The ballots will be counted on March 27.
Applications are available online at http:// www. hsvpoa. org, or from the general manager’s office at the POA Administration Building, 895 DeSoto Blvd. Members will be selected by a blind draw during the March 5 board of directors work session and appointed by the board on March 19.
Applications must be completed and returned to the general manager’s office no later than Feb. 28.

Newcomer’s Coffee scheduled for Feb. 27
New Hot Springs Village residents are welcome to attend a Newcomers’ Coffee at 9 a. m. Feb. 27 in the Ouachita Activities Building of the Ponce de Leon Center, 1101 DeSoto Blvd.
Coffee and donuts will be available at 8: 30 a. m. and presentations will begin at 9 a. m. The meeting will give new residents an opportunity to hear about the Property Owners’ Association, along with organizations and activities in Hot Springs Village.

Titanic auditions this weekend
Auditions for the Titanic Dinner Theater will be held from 2- 4 p. m. Saturday and Sunday at Coronado Community Center.
The show will be performed April 14- 15 on the anniversary of the ship’s sinking, and the dinner menu will feature many of the items actually served that faithful night.
