Clubs and organizations
Traditional Art Guild is an artists guild. The purpose of the organization is to provide mutual counsel and helpfulness, and to unite the influence and service of men and women in promoting and encouraging enrichment of life through traditional arts.
Executive officers are: Doug Jones, president; Joanne Kunath, vice president; Margaret Hoffman, secretary; and Beth Jones, treasurer.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month, September- May at Garland County Library.

StoneWorks Agency is a nonprofit organization founded Feb. 2, 2011. The purpose of the organization is to address the employment, housing and support services needs of veterans of all eras and their families; and individuals with felony backgrounds and their families. Services include job search, placement, career direction, mentoring, peer counseling and housing, other support services as needed and giving encouragement. It offers GED preparation and a reverse mentoring program, where youths are the mentors, the young leaders of the future.
Executive officers
are: Sheryl Talbert, executive director; and Larry Natt, senior educational coordinator.
Hours are 10: 30 a. m. to 1 p. m. Thursdays at Garland County Library. Will be moving to 121 Grove St. in March.

United Methodist Outreach is a charitable organization that was founded in 1974 by the Rev. Ralph Hale, of Grand Avenue Methodist Church. The purpose of the organization is to provide assistance to those in need in Garland County. The basic mission is food assistance, which is provided to families and individuals referred by the local Department of Human Services. As funds are available, assistance in the form of grants is awarded to other established nonprofits, providing help with shelter, prescriptions and other basic needs.
Executive officers are Doug Baber, chairman; Lynne Perrine, vice chairman; Dee Anderson, secretary; and Richard Riley, treasurer.
Meetings are held quarterly and the organization is responsible for a thrift store at 304 Albert Pike which is open from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. Tuesday- Friday and 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Monday and Saturday.
