Humane Society of Garland County Thrift Store, 2026 Central Ave., in the Freeman Center, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday- Saturday. Donations of gently worn, clean clothing and shoes, jewelry, purses, antiques, home decor, household items, books and nonupholst­ered furniture in good condition are accepted. All proceeds contribute to the care, veterinari­an fees and shelter for dogs and cats at the kennel facilities at 1249 Ault Loop, Lonsdale. Donations of dog and cat food and other miscellane­ous pet supplies may be dropped off at the store. Free low-cost spay and neuter vouchers are available at the store. Abilities Unlimited Thrift Store, 1819 Albert Pike, is open from 8:30 a.m.4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday. It has a selection of clothing for men, women, children and plus sizes; shoes, house- hold items and furniture are available. All profits go to Garland County Habitat for Humanity in order to build houses. RPM Thrift Store, 815 Albert Pike, is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Articles include household items, appliances, furniture, TVs, women’s accessorie­s, toys and more. Items donated are tax deductible. Proceeds benefit Recovery Point Ministry, a faith-based, nonprofit organizati­on which provides a nurturing environmen­t to help women step out of their pain from destructiv­e habits and begin to rebuild their lives through the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Haven United Methodist Thrift Store, 645 Park Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays.

Safe Haven Shelter For Women and Children Thrift Shop, 3907 Central Ave., near Weldon’s Meat Market in South Park Shopping Center, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Items include clothing for women, men and children, and household goods. Donations are welcome.

Helping Hands of Bismarck, 6804 Highway 7, is a community emergency assistance organizati­on for those in the Bismarck School District which operates a thrift store from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays-Saturdays.
