RUNNING START

Participants take off on Convention Boulevard for the 5K and 10K races Saturday during the Spa Running Festival. Kevin Golden and Rachael Sanchez won divisions of the inaugural Summit 2 Challenge Half Marathon. Mark Ferguson of Little Rock won the male championship and Olivia Turner of Hot Springs the female title in the 10K, while former Lake Hamilton male runner Richard Williams and current Lady Wolf state champion Josie Carson took top honors in the 5K.
