Margie L. Bailey

Service for Margie Louise Bailey, 84, of Hot Springs, who died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home with Pastor George Lynch and Pastor Doug Tippet officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Cunningham Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearer­s are Jason Frost, Jeremy Frost, Tyler Bailey, Justin Bailey, Spencer Bailey, Jason Meeks and Hunter Bailey.

Honorary pallbearer­s are National Park Medical Center staff and Dierkson Hospice.

Mervin Clardy

GLEN ROSE — Mervin “Merv” Clardy, 60 of Glen Rose, died Nov. 19, 2015, near Story.

He was born Aug. 30, 1955, in Hot Springs, the son of the late Lloyd and Neoma Rackley Clardy.

He was preceded in death by two grandchild­ren, Ellie and Emma Clardy.

Survivors sons, Juston Clardy (Crystal), of Bismarck, Matt Clardy (Brittany), Heath Clardy (Hannah), all of Glen Rose; stepdaught­er, Alyssa Beck, of Glen Rose; brother, Phil Clardy (Teresa), of Butterfiel­d; seven grandchild­ren, Hannah, Chrystal, Bowen, Kevin, Morgan, Wylie Grace, Braelyn; niece, Tasha Goss; and nephew, Shain Clardy.

Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Regency.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, Regency Chapel. Burial Fairplay Cemetery.

Bobby J. Crabtree

PEARCY — Bobby “Bob” James Crabtree, age 67, of Pearcy, passed away at home after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015.

He was born Dec. 24, 1947, in Hot Springs, the son of Jim Crabtree and Lillie Jones Crabtree. On April 13, 1967, he married Shirley J. Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Bill Crabtree.

He worked as a farm hand for over 20 years with Keith Smith Farms.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Crabtree; two daughters, Jeanne Crabtree and Robin (Darren) Guillot; two grandchild­ren, Darren Guillot Jr. and Tessa Guillot; his brother-in-law, who he thought of as a son, Freddy Hall, and his wife, Lorrie; his sister-in-law, Nina Crabtree; two sisters, Wanda (Lee) Van and Shirley (James) Norman; and several nieces and nephews.

His sister, Wanda, and niece, Missy, were great help during his illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, in Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother Tommy McDaniel officiatin­g.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday,

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hot Springs.

Pallbearer­s will be Eddie Bettis, Chuck Watson, Brian Hollier, Freddy Hall, Darren Guillot Sr. and Darren Guillot Jr.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Central Arkansas for all their support and care during Bob’s illness. A special thanks to his hospice nurse, Jennifer Clark, who went above and beyond in her care of him.

James A. Kolasch

James “Jimmy” Adolf Kolasch, 91, of Hot Springs, passed away Nov. 17, 2015.

He was born April 24, 1924, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Jacob Anthony and Margaret Ann (Dussold) Kolasch.

Jimmy was a WWII Army Veteran who fought with the 555 Battalion in the European Theater and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church. Jimmy loved to watch game-shows and was an NCIS and Law and Order fanatic. He loved his family and cherished his grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren and great-great-grandchild. Jimmy will be missed by numerous friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Kolasch; son, Gary Kolasch; brothers, Robert and Richard Kolasch; and son-in-law, Jose Martinez.

Survivors include sons, Mike Kolasch (Betty), of Hot Springs; Richard Kolasch, of St. Louis, Mo.; daughter, Patricia Martinez, of Hot Springs; grandchild­ren, Elda and husband, Peter, Jacob, Evaristo and wife, Jolena, Maria, Christophe­r and wife, Beth, Melany; great-grandchild­ren, Adrianna, Jacob, Krysta, Kaley, Cody, Heaven, Maya, Richard, Eloy, Tommy, Allyson, Keadan, Evaristo V.; and one great-great-grandchild, Addyson Elizabeth.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. Monday with service immediatel­y following at 2 p.m. at Caruth Village Funeral Home with Brother Jacob Kolasch and Father George Sanders officiatin­g.

Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Carolyn M.S. Kroha

Memorial service for Carolyn Marnette Skillern Kroha, 85, of Hot Springs, who died Nov. 19, 2015, will be 2 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Schildgen officiatin­g.

Wilda Davis McNiel

MCKINNEY, Texas — Wilda Davis McNiel, 88, of McKinney, Texas, passed away Nov. 12, 2015.

Wilda was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Princeton, Texas, to Sylvester Earl and Ida May (Smallwood) Davis. She married Billy Neil McNiel on Jan. 3, 1955, in Durant, Okla. Wilda was an interior designer at Johnson Furniture in McKinney. She was a member of Waddill Baptist Church in McKinney.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Ortega and husband, David, of Lancaster, Texas, Cindy Gildner and Fred Kerr, of Hot Springs, and Teri Tallant and Mark Tallant, of McKinney, Texas; grandchild­ren, Regina Pope, of Red Oak, Texas, Tracy Neil Roberts, of Lancaster, Texas, Ryan Gildner and wife, Erin, of Bryant, Lexi Tallant, of Frisco, Texas, SPC. Tyler Pierce Gildner, of Fort Hood, Texas, and Chloe Tallant, of McKinney, Texas; and great-grandchild­ren, Brittany Pope, Hagen Gildner and Koen Gildner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy McNiel; grandson, Craig Scott Gildner; great-granddaugh­ter, Nora Gildner; and four brothers.

A graveside service was held at noon Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family received friends during a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.

Rosemary Swaim Metcalf died on Nov. 20, 2015, at her home.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James D.Metcalf; daughter, Jean Harper (George); sisters, Ann Rogers and Carolyn Emerine; and a number of nieces and nephews.
