BISMARCK — Eva Ruth McCormick Hardin, 88, of Bismarck, passed from this life peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs.

She was born March 22, 1927, in Witherspoo­n, the daughter of the late John and Eva Lambert McCormick. Eva Ruth enjoyed cooking, quilting and traveling. She was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church.

Eva Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garvin Hardin; siblings, Hattie, Francis, J.D., Helen, Ralph, George, Margie, Edward and James.

Survivors are her daughter, Paula (Andy) Jackson, Hot Springs; son, Rod (Cindy) Hardin, Bismarck; granddaugh­ter, Amber (Enrique) Espinosa, Spring, Texas; grandsons, Chris (Lori) Roberts, Clarksvill­e, Texas, Bryan (Heather) Roberts, Round Rock, Texas; great-grandchild­ren, Alexa, Parker and Ryland Espinosa, Gunnar (Bree) and Dylan Roberts, Keeley and Braydan Roberts.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Dean Prince officiatin­g.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Memorial may be made to Hickory Grove Cemetery Assoc., c/o George Hawthorn, 1104 Old Military Rd, Arkadelphi­a, AR 71923.

Pallbearer­s are Chris, Bryan, Gunnar and Dylan Roberts, Kevin and Kyle Whitley.

Final arrangemen­ts are entrusted to The Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphi­a.
