‘Genealogy Scrapbooking’ topic of upcoming meeting
How can people preserve genealogical research and share family stories, reunions or special memories with children, cousins, friends/family in a way that is fun, concise and easy to follow?
Join Hot Springs Village Genealogical Society at 2 p.m. Thursday in Room 6 of the Coronado Center for “Genealogy Scrapbooking Without the Mess” by Kay Cantrell. Learn about online sites that can help people organize, share, print out or publish their materials and pictures while utilizing the online resources for clip art, decorative elements or colorful borders and backgrounds. Let the creative juices flow, whether creating a small memory book or an heirloom book for your library.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Cantrell has lived in Arkansas most of her life. She earned a B.A. in History from Mississippi State College for Women and an M.A. in American History from the University of Tennessee.
