Robert left his loving wife of 64 years, Linda Rosemarie Dixon Woodbury. Robert had a BS degree, master’s degree in social work, master’s degree in hospital administration, and a doctor of divinity. A cradle Episcopalian, he studied at the Bishop Anderson House in Chicago, becoming a chaplain. He spent most of his professional life in the service of others; helping children was important to him.

A life-long reader, he liked reading mysteries for the Garland Library’s Sleuther Club. While in Hot Springs, he attended Pocket Theater and the Muses.

A celebration of life will be held in the Chicagoland area.
