Blood drives planned throughout coming week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following locations and times during the week:

• Monday — 12:30-5 p.m., Arkansas School for Mathematic­s, Sciences, and the Arts Chapel,

100 Whittingto­n Ave.; noon to 4 p.m., Bloodmobil­e at Arkansas Department of Correction, 100 Walco Lane, Malvern.

• Tuesday — 8 a.m. to noon, Coronado Center Room 6, 150 Ponderosa Road, Hot Springs Village.

• Thursday — noon to 4:30 p.m., Bloodmobil­e at Diamond Bank, 205 Highway 70 west, Glenwood.

• Friday — 8:30-11 a.m., Bloodmobil­e at Bank of the Ozarks,

4044 Central Ave.; 1:30-4 p.m., Bloodmobil­e at Arvest Bank,

4570 Central Ave.

All donors will receive a Hog Wild for Arkansas T-shirt, Donor Reward Points, a free health screening, refreshmen­ts, learn their blood type, and be entered into a drawing for an iPad at each blood drive. All blood donations support the two local acute-care hospitals, and some to hurricane relief in Texas. Donating takes about 45 minutes, and donations can credit any patient in any hospital.
