Carolyn D. Buck

PEARCY — Carolyn Dorris Buck, age 72, of Pearcy, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.

She was born on July 1, 1945, in Pearcy, the daughter of Fred Augustus Buchheit and Mary Louise Francis Buchheit. On March 25, 1963, she married Dwayne Boyd Buck. She was preceded in death by both parents, as well as brothers Ned and Nicky Buchheit.

Carolyn was a Jehovah’s Witness in faith. She was known for her phenomenal cooking. She was also an accomplished artist, masterful with her paintbrush. She enjoyed flower gardening, going on drives, fishing for whatever was biting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dwayne Buck, of Pearcy; son and daughter-inlaw, Jerry and Sherri Buck, of LaGrange, Ga.; daughter, Doris Beitzel, of Pearcy; four grandchildren, Bradley Dwayne Buck, Joshua Richard Beitzel, Colby Jordan Buck and Kaitlyn Nicole Buck; one great-grandson, Hunter; two sisters, Jane Friend and Mary Diane and Richard Hall; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018, in Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in Mazarn Chapel Cemetery immediately following service.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today.
