Magic Springs announces Dive-In Movie series lineup

Magic Springs Theme & Water Park has announced the lineup for its summer Dive-In Movie series, beginning on July 6.

The series will feature “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” “Smurfs: The Lost Village,” “Justice League” and “The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature.”

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is first in line on July 6. To kick things off, the first 1,500 children ages 3-11 will learn the ways of a true Jedi and receive a free foam lightsaber. “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is the eighth main installment of the “Star Wars” franchise and follows the journeys of Rey and Luke Skywalker as the Resistance prepares for battle with the First Order.

On July 13, Magic Springs is taking it to the forest with “Smurfs: The Lost Village.” In this fully animated movie, a mysterious map takes Smurfette and her friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on a trip they will never forget as they find one of the biggest secrets in Smurf history.

The “Justice League” is hitting the big screen on July 20. Follow Batman and Wonder Woman as they pull together a team of heroes to save the planet from a catastrophic end.

The final Dive-In movie is on July 22 with “The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature.” Attendees can sit back and relax in the pool and watch as Surly and his pals attempt to stop Oakton City’s mayor from destroying their home to make room for an amusement park.

The movies are free with a one-day admission ticket or a Magic Springs season pass.
