Curtis A. Dagen
Curtis A. Dagen, 56, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Sept. 14, 2018.
He was born April 23, 1962, in Jefferson, Texas, to Franklin and Vurtis (Renfro) Dagen.
Curtis may be gone from this world, but he left his legacy one way or another in the hearts of the many people who dearly loved him. A loving father to many, friend and mentor to many more, loving husband and best friend. No one could ever replace such a hero. Curtis was a native of Houston, Texas, and had recently retired to Hot Springs with the intentions of making the mountains his home. Though he never had the opportunity to enjoy his retirement, his last few months did allow an overabundance of quality time with his family and grandchildren. Curtis may be gone, but will never be forgotten, will always be loved and will be sorely missed.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sara Dagen, of Hot Springs; son, Alex Golden, of Vilonia; daughters, Ashley Dagen, of Hot Springs, Aurora Dagen, of Cleveland, Texas, Stephanie McCall (Garrett), of Sacramento, Calif., Faith Cupples, of Hot Springs; brothers, Phillip Dagen (Maria), of Houston, Texas, Franklin Dagen (Linda), of Magnolia, Texas; grandson, Gabriel Boan and granddaughter, Rebecca Billingsley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and the children he took under his wings, Ashleigh, Amber, Stephen, Luke, Emma and Justin.
