Gail lived in Texas for a short time during Wayne’s Army stint and then resided for a number of years in Indianapolis prior to the family settling in Hot Springs in 1979.

Gail loved life and people — never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed traveling and a good glass of wine. One of her favorite trips and memories was when she and Wayne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by taking their children, spouses and grandchildren on a Caribbean cruise. Gail also loved Florida — making many annual extended winter trips with family and friends. She loved time on the water, whether it was at Lake Hamilton, the ocean or even a good and refreshing pool.
