Hot Springs Toastmaste­rs to hold meeting on Saturday

Hot Springs Toastmaste­rs will hold its regular meeting at 8 a.m. Saturday at National Park Medical Center, 1910 Malvern Ave.

All former Toastmaste­rs, as well as interested guests, are welcome. There is no charge. Meetings normally are one hour long.

Hot Springs Emblem Club to hold holiday tea, fashion show

The Hot Springs Emblem Club will hold its annual Holiday Tea & Fashion Show, with fashions by Grand Lagniappe Shoppe, entertainm­ent by The Village Strings and door prizes, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Elks Lodge, 132 Abbott Place.

Hot Springs Freethinke­rs to hold public presentati­on

Hot Springs Freethinke­rs will hold a free, open-to-the-public presentati­on, at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Arkansas School for Mathematic­s, Sciences, and the Arts’ Administra­tion Building, 200 Whittingto­n Ave.,

Peter Trabant will speak on “Climate Chaos and Unexpected Consequenc­es — Tip of the Iceberg.”
