Lessons from election
Dear editor:
What I learned this week — how to get elected in Arkansas, French Hill style. First, lie in your advertising — credit yourself with favoring pre-existing conditions but vote in the House repeatedly to repeal ACA/Obamacare.
Second, you put words in the mouth of your opponent that he did not say — like connecting Nancy Pelosi to Clarke Tucker when Tucker was on record for wanting new leadership. And finally, make sure you have taken enough money from the NRA to put your ads on TV with more frequency than medical prescription ads. Hypocrite score, 100 percent. And there you have it, Arkansas politics. Makes Louisiana look positively refreshing. Michael Preble Hot Springs
