Jerry Lynn Nooner, Pappa, age 74, of Hot Springs, was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018.

He was born on April 25,

1944, in Hot Springs, the son of the late Wesley Nooner and Eunice Hall Nooner. On June 23,

1984, he married Roberta Lynne Blowney Nooner.

Jerry was an avid fisherman. He also loved camping, BBQ and Razorback football. He aspired to be super-dad in his children’s eyes and most of all, enjoyed time spent with grandchild­ren — especially teaching them to fish!

He was preceded in death by both parents; one brother, John Nooner; one sister, Penny Moore; and one grandson, Josh Hudson.

He was a member of Piney Grove Methodist Church and retired from Terminix Pest Control after over 20 years of service. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lynne Nooner, of Hot Springs; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry Nooner, of Enid, Okla., Ken and wife Michelle Nooner, of Bonnerdale, and Ralph Schultz, of Little Rock; three daughters and one son-in-law, Kori Nooner, of Dallas, Carrie Bursloff, of Benton, and Debbie and husband, Bill Hudson, of Royal; 18 grandchild­ren, 14 great-grandchild­ren, two brothers and one sister-inlaw, (Edward) Buddy Nooner, of Benton, and Alan and wife Linda Nooner, of Hot Springs; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7,

2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs, with Associate Bobby Thornton officiatin­g.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Piney Grove United Methodist Church.
