Hot Springs Toast­mas­ters to meet Satur­day at NPMC

Hot Springs Toast­mas­ters will hold its reg­u­lar meet­ing at 8 a.m. Satur­day at Na­tional Park Med­i­cal Cen­ter, 1910 Malvern Ave.

All for­mer Toast­mas­ters, as well as in­ter­ested guests, are wel­come. There is no charge. Meet­ings nor­mally are one hour long. The meet­ings are held in the east wing of the hos­pi­tal. En­ter from un­der the por­tico on that end of the cam­pus.

A re­minder for club of­fi­cers: The semi-an­nual of­fi­cer train­ing ses­sion for club of­fi­cers in Dis­trict 43, Di­vi­sions A and B, is sched­uled for the morn­ing of Jan. 26 at the South­west Power Pool lo­ca­tion in Lit­tle Rock.

Toast­mas­ters is a sup­port­ive, in­ex­pen­sive way to learn speak­ing and lead­er­ship skills. Train­ing re­sources for speech­mak­ing are part of Toast­mas­ter ma­te­ri­als avail­able to mem­bers. Toast­mas­ters In­ter­na­tional’s ma­te­ri­als and pro­grams also of­fer lead­er­ship de­vel­op­ment. Meet­ings may also in­clude an ed­u­ca­tional pre­sen­ta­tion.
