Vegetarian Supper Club meets Monday

The first Vegetarian Supper Club meeting for

2019 will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The meeting will “offer life-changing natural remedies and solutions that have proved to heal,” a news release said. The featured presenter for the evening will be Linda Higgins, a “natural healing and wellness advocate who has lived and traveled all over the world.”

Higgins has “extensive knowledge from her experience working in several healing and lifestyle centers from Black Hills, S.D., to Weimar Institute in California. During her time managing and ordering for a large health food store, she was able to educate clients, work with city boards, teach vegan cooking schools, and run her own company.”

Higgins “shares her passion for an organic, whole plant-based diet, with a chemical-free lifestyle. One of her many hobbies is ‘wild food foraging’ and survival living,” the release said. A personal one-on-one appointment may be scheduled with Higgins, as well.

“Supper Club attendees enjoy good food and fellowship with others who are interested in health and healing,” the release said. Attendees should bring a vegetarian dish with the recipe, and a self-addressed envelope to receive the recipe collection for the evening. Supper Club meetings are held on the second Monday evening each month in the fellowship hall of Hot Springs Adventist Church, 401 Weston Road. There is no admission charge, and everyone is welcome.
