Blood drives
Blood drives planned during coming week
Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following times and locations this week:
• Monday — 12:30-5 p.m., Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, 100 Whittington Ave., administration board room.
• Tuesday — 8 a.m. to noon, Room 6 of the Coronado Center, 150 Ponderosa, Hot Springs Village.
• Wednesday — 1-3:15 p.m., Bloodmobile at Hot Springs Elks Lodge No. 380, 132 Abbott Place; 5:15-7:30 p.m., Bloodmobile at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,
2765 Malvern Ave.
• Saturday — 10 a.m. to
2:15 p.m., Bloodmobile in the Norman Community, 133 Golf Course Road (City Hall); 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bloodmobile at Sam’s Club, 1368 Higdon Ferry Road.
• Sunday — 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Bloodmobile at Hot Springs Baptist Church, 144 Weston Road; 1:30-3:30 p.m., Bloodmobile at Community of Christ Church, 1590 Airport Road.
All donors will receive a longsleeved holiday “Blue Truck” shirt and an admission ticket to the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock, Donor Reward Points, a blood-type card and refreshments. Donors may also donate whole blood, double red cells, platelets or plasma at the Donor Center, 149 Section Line Road, Suite G, by calling 501-624-0666. All donations support hospitals in Arkansas and donations can be credited to a patient in any hospital.
