Mark Umphries, 107 Douglas Drive, reported a theft of a wallet, passport, foreign money and American money by a known suspect.

May 18

Bryan M. Crites, Hot Springs, reported a breakin to a vehicle at 106 Trooper Lane. Missing was a .45-caliber handgun.

May 19

Keith S. Lanier, 6 Stonegate Heights, reported a break-in to a boat. Missing were a stereo, amplifier, two docking lights, three life jackets and three buoys.

Kara Parris, 186 Kelsie Lane, reported a burglary. Missing were a 12-gauge shotgun, 20-gauge shotgun, .22-caliber long rifle, .410 single shot rifle and money.

May 20

Steven Paulinski, Winner’s Circle, 3741 Malvern Ave., reported a burglary. Missing were five boxes of cigarettes and money.

Angler Joey Jones reeled in a $500 bluegill Friday at Sunnybrook Landing on Lake Hamilton bringing the total number of prize fish caught in the 2019 $101,000 Hot Springs Fishing Challenge to 15. Jones’ bluegill was caught near Rabbit Island in about five feet of water while fishing with Arkansas shad. Sponsor Visit Hot Springs has paid out a total of $17,000 in prize money since May 1. The challenge ends at 5 p.m. July 31.
