Nora L. Ballew

JESSIEVILLE — Nora Lee Ballew, 77, of Jessieville, Ark., passed away May 19, 2019.

She was born March 24, 1942, in Cedar Glades, Ark., to Rector and Minnie (Howton) Fisher. Nora was a longtime member of Prairie Grove Baptist Church. She loved to fish and work in her garden. Nora enjoyed visiting on the phone with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freeman Ballew; and sisters, Bonnie Balisle and Sandra Trusty.

Survivors include sisters, Joyce Johnson (Hershel), of Jessieville, Yvonne Spradlin, of Hot Springs, Hazel Crain (J.C.), of Hollis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Rock Springs Cemetery with Brother Ed DePriest officiating.
