Accounting firm changes name, announces new partners
Jordan, Woosley, Crone & Keaton Ltd. is pleased to announce some noteworthy changes in the last year.
Christina Ellis, CPA, and Courtney Moore, CPA, CFE, CFMA, have joined the firm as the newest partners with existing partners Gary Welch, CPA, CVA, and Jimmy Pate, CPA, CGMA, CVA, CRCM.
“Christina has been with the firm for 15 years and is a graduate of Henderson State University. Her areas of concentration include engineering and surveying compliance auditing, nonprofit and governmental auditing, construction contractor auditing, compilations and review services, individual and business taxation and Quickbooks consulting and consulting for setting up new businesses along with payroll and bookkeeping needs,” a news release said.
“Courtney is also a graduate of Henderson State University and has been with the firm for four years. His areas of concentration are bank auditing and compliance, forensic accounting and litigation support, construction contractor auditing, nonprofit auditing, compilation and review services and all areas of individual, trust and business taxation,” the release said.
The firm added to its already nine certified public accountants by hiring Amanda Meyers-Epperson, CPA, CFE. She comes to the firm with already having a full career with Arkansas Legislative Audit which provided her with more than 30 years in auditing local governments and nonprofits. She is certified as a fraud examiner and has substantial experience with forensic accounting as well as auditing, the release said.
Moreover, Regina Freeland passed the CPA exam in December after having been with the firm for 12 years. She specializes in compilations, reviews, fraud examination, taxation, auditing and Quickbooks consulting, the release said.
Lastly, the firm changed its name to JWCK, Ltd., but is still located at 126 Hobson Ave., and will continue to maintain its satellite office in Hot Springs Village at 710 Desoto Blvd.
