BONNERDALE — Robert Freeman Jr., age 74, of Bonnerdale, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019.

He was born on Jan. 18, 1945, in New Brunswick, NJ, the son of Robert Freeman Sr. and Gwendolyn Ransom Freeman. On September 20, 1983, he married Cynthia Clement. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Scott Freeman.

Robert was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church and the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Associatio­n. He graduated from Henderson State University with a bachelor’s degree of science in biology and chemistry. He retired from the Central Arkansas Water Company as an engineer after more than 23 years of service. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family on their Backward R Ranch raising cattle. He also enjoyed hunting, baseball and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Freeman, of Bonnerdale; his son and daughter-inlaw, Grant and Danielle Freeman, of Bonnerdale; his daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Robbie Hall ,of Hot Springs; three grandchild­ren, Ransom Scott Freeman, Dominic James Hall and Emily Rose Hall; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Gwen and Tom Miller, of Lavallette, N.J., and Storm Freeman, of Falls Church, Va,; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of wonderful friends; and his Red Heeler fur baby, Kylie Red.

A celebratio­n of Robert’s life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother Teddy Hill and Brother Fred Hunter officiatin­g.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Honorary pallbearer­s will be the staff of Genesis Cancer Center and the staff of CHI, St. Vincent, Hot Springs.

Funeral Services for Paul Rose Sr., age 74, of Hot Springs, will be 11 a.m. today, Aug. 5, 2019, at Cottrell Chapel CME Church. Burial will be in Omaha, Neb.
