HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Tickets are now on sale for The Village Chorale’s Christmas Concert, “Sounds of the Season,” which will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at Woodlands Auditorium.

Arvest Bank will be the Ticket Sponsor for the concert, while ReMax of Hot Springs Village will be the Concert Sponsor.

“Arvest Bank supports many area cultural events, and the Chorale is honored that they have decided to be our ticket sponsor for this concert,” a news release said. ReMax is also a frequent supporter of the arts in this area.

“The Chorale is privileged to have these two outstanding companies be part of our mission of ‘Connecting Community to the Choral Art,’” the release said.

The Village Chorale is an auditioned mixed choral ensemble of around 35 singers who enjoy sharing their musical talents with the community.

“At a Chorale concert, the audience will enjoy a professional quality show from the fine choral sound they produce to the multimedia presentation of the music,” the release said. “The concert will feature several instrumentalists to help bring the music alive. You will also hear some a cappella selections to highlight the rich sound of unaccompanied choral voices.”

The selections will be in a variety of styles, from light classical to new compositions, familiar Christmas carols made new with exciting new arrangements, a section that features music from popular children’s movies, and even some pop.

Tickets are available at http:// www.hsvticketsales.com, the Woodlands office during business hours, ReMax of Hot Springs Village, or from Chorale singers.
