Brittney L. Hamilton
Brittney Lynne Hamilton — born Dec. 17, 1992, in Texarkana, Texas — daughter of Michael Paul Hamilton, of Jonesboro, and Cindy Vance Hamilton, of Hot Springs, big sister of Tyler Vance Hamilton, of Colorado Springs, left us temporarily on April 4, 2020.
Brittney was greatly loved by all who truly knew her. Hot Springs High School drum major/valedictorian (class of 2011), Brittney achieved much success in music and theater. She went on to complete an Associate of Science degree from ASU Jonesboro in 2013.
A talented flow arts hobbyist, Brittney loved attending music festivals and living in the moment. She found joy in nature and celebrated the details in God’s design. She was a compassionate person and spent time caring for those who had been overlooked.
Brittney was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bo Vance, and her grandfather, Earl Paul Hamilton.
Other than her immediate family, she is survived by her grandfather, Charles (Karen) Vance, and her grandmother, Sylvia Armstrong; aunts and uncles: Bart (Lynnlee) Vance, Melody (David) Stearns and Myra (Kevin) Daugherty; several beautiful cousins, many other extended family and friends.
There will be an outside gathering to honor Brittney’s life at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8. Contact family resources for location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made in Brittney’s name to the Jackson House in Hot Springs, http://www.JacksonHouse.org.
