Earth Angel

-

Following the recent severe weather in the area, the city of Hot Springs is offering free pickup of tree storm debris through May 13 for residents.

It is important that debris be left curbside for pickup while ensuring it is not placed under any power lines. The debris should be cut in pieces no longer than 6 feet in length and less than 24 inches in diameter. It cannot contain lumber or any non-tree debris. Any stumps or tree materials larger than the maximum measurements would need to be taken to the Garland County Landfill.

The City’s Clean, Attractive Property Service program in the Solid Waste Department offers residents two free pickups a year, but debris pickups during this designated period will not count against that annual allotment.

To schedule a pickup, call C.A.P.S at 321-6921.
