Dylan M. Frazier

-

Dylan Makelle Frazier, 27, of Hot Springs, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2020.

Dylan was a son, brother, father, grandson and kind-hearted young man with a God-given talent as a poet and vocalist.

Born on May 26, 1992, Dylan was adventurous, creative and known for his extremely quick wit. Little Caesar’s pizza sales are sure to decline without his continued passion for pizza.

Dylan attended St. John’s Elementary School, Lakeside School and graduated from Puyallup High School in Seattle, Wash. Dylan was a clever, playful and private young man who loved to spend time with his family and friends on Lake Hamilton and Lake Ouachita riding Sea-Doo’s and wakeboarding. In his early teen years, he developed a love of snowboarding and skateboarding. More recently, you may have seen him flying around town on his hoverboard.

With both passion and an intense sense of empathy, Dylan was subject to depression and drug addiction, which he battled for many years. Sadly, he chose to end his life just weeks before his 28th birthday.

He is survived by his parents, Ricky Frazier and Dawn Geiger; his brothers, Ryan (Elizabeth) Frazier, Landon Geiger and Kelle Geiger; his younger sister, Victoria Frazier; his paternal grandparents, Lena Roberts and Roy (Janet) Frazier; and his maternal grandparents, Kelly and Deanna Broussard. He is predeceased by his stepfather, Bobby Geiger; and his paternal grandfather, Leon Roberts. Dylan is also survived by his close fourlegged friend and constant companion, Nacho, as well as several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held at the Lake Valley Community Church, located at 910 Shady Grove Road, Hot Springs, Ark., at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May

16, 2020. All are welcome. Due to COVID-19, the service will be held in the parking lot, where we ask that all visitors remain in their vehicles at all times for safety purposes.

Our entire family prays that Dylan’s journey can continue to raise awareness towards mental health and addiction recovery efforts in order to reduce lives lost to these illnesses.

With this, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making donations to the following: National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, 800-2738255; Recovery Point Ministry,

501-463-4255, 815 Albert Pike Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913; Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency.

Our family would like to extend our special thanks to Renee Fechuch, RN, CHI St. Vincent ICU and ER staff, and Meredith Halle and team at ARORA.
