Mary Louise Morrison, 69, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away April 14, 2021.

She was born Dec. 5, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark., to John and Edith (Tate) Wilford.

Mary enjoyed her 18-year career at Oaklawn Park selling mutual tickets. She “really” enjoyed her occasional trips to Tunica. Mary loved fishing and was a fantastic cook, with Thanksgivi­ng dinner being her specialty. She was a faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church and worked tirelessly for the Knights of Columbus rummage sale. Mary loved her family and fur babies and treasured every moment she could spend with her grandchild­ren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Wilford Jr.; and sister, Mildred Kathryn Stewart.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Danny Morrison; sons, Jay Morgan, Steve Morgan; daughter, Heather Bradley (Jef); stepson, Micah Morrison (Melanie); sisters, Elizabeth Pickney (Bobby Joe), Marie Cavanaugh; 10 grandchild­ren; three great-grandchild­ren, with one soon on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

The Rite of Christian Burial Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father George Sanders officiatin­g, assisted by Father Ravi. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.

Pallbearer­s include Elijah Williams, Cody Morgan, Christophe­r Morgan, Jef Bradley, Mark Thurman, Don Sluyter and Brian Hannah.

Honorary pallbearer­s are the physicians, nurses and staff of CHI St. Vincent ICU, Dr. Michael Frais, Dr. Stephen Divers and Dr. Amy Falck.
