Senior center offers Monday meal service

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Senior Center offers a drive-up curbside meal service for its members each Monday.

The once-weekly service is offered from

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays at the Area Agency on Aging parking lot located at

905 W. Grand Ave. Center members can receive one hot meal and four frozen meals to go.

“For your safety, we ask everyone to remain in their vehicles as they pull up through the parking lot. Members will be greeted by staff wearing PPE (personal protective equipment). If you are coming by bus and/ or walking up we ask that you respect social distancing and wear a mask,” the release said.

Center members need to have their membership cards which will be scanned to receive their meals.

A donation box will be available.

“Any and all donations are appreciate­d. We will not be able to make change,” the release said.

Monday’s hot meal will be chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet peas, and German chocolate cake.
