Christopher J. Durr

-

Christopher Julian Durr transitioned into glory Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at approximately 2 a.m., being embraced by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Chris’s wife, Lori; father: Charles Durr and wife Sherry; mother: Carmen Puente; brother: Charles Joseph Durr; sister: Jacqueline Durr, are currently on the planet earth, along with the many family members and friends, awaiting their turn in God’s timing.

What do you say about a mighty man of God with great faith, with a beautiful heart and soul that loves his wife, his whole family, and the many friends and “strangers” that he has met along the way leaving them with a story, always connecting with the person who he is talking to and giving a great hug. “Chris always has an encouraging word, contagious love of life and a smile from east to west that will brighten anyone’s day,” said his sister Jackie. Chris’s favorite topic is Jesus and sharing the love of Christ boldly and making sure you are ready to meet God one day. (John 3:3, 3:16; John 14:6) Chris’s life journey has been a true blessing, traveling all over the world, enjoying a great cup of coffee with the love of his life and family, and listening to some great preaching! Chris’s love for God and his family reach to the furthest parts of the universe, never ending. The words Chris would leave you with is, “Make sure your heart and life are right with God, because tomorrow is promised to no one.”

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be 10 a.m. Friday at Caruthhale Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.
