Blade to open Magic Springs’ season on Saturday
Magic Springs Theme and Water park will celebrate opening for the 2022 summer season on Saturday with comedic illusionist Maxwell Blade of the Maxwell Blade Theater of Magic, who will “bring the magic back with a special performance featuring some of his signature tricks and illusions,” a news release said.
“We can’t wait to help our friends at Magic Springs bring the magic back,” Blade said in the release. “We will be bringing our spectacular show experience that guests know and love to the park for a day full of thrills, family fun and magic!”
Blade’s show will start at 3 p.m. Saturday at the park’s Split Rock Grill Deck. Special events and concerts, such as the opening day celebration and magic show, are included with a one-day park admission ticket or a season pass.
“Summer is right around the corner and we’re ready to welcome everyone back for another season of outdoor family fun,” Jessyka Hanna, general manager, said in the release.
“This year, we are going above and beyond with one of the best concert series we have ever had, affordable deals on season passes and an incredible opening day celebration. Exciting things are happening at Magic Springs this year, and you don’t want to miss out on all of the magic,” Hanna said.
Magic Springs, the state’s only theme and water park, “provides outdoor family fun for families and thrillseekers alike,” including concerts and special events, the release said.
The park will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on weekends. Weekday operations will begin on May 30, “kicking off the official start of summer fun.”
Regular daily admission to Magic Springs is $59.99 plus tax for adults and $39.99 plus tax for children and seniors. Guests can purchase a season pass for $59.99 plus tax when they purchase four or more, Silver Season Passes for $69.99 plus tax when they purchase four or more, and Gold Season Passes for $139.98 plus tax.
