McLeod was born in Monterey, Mexico. She met her husband in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and they moved to Hot Springs Village in 2019. She joined Artists’ Workshop Gallery a short time later and serves as co-curator, a news release said. “At a young age, McLeod was encouraged by her older brothers to develop her creative interests. After retiring from a business career she began painting in earnest and developing her craft. Her natural talent has grown through dedicated research and learning. She will be presenting many new works of her often whimsical, brilliantly colored acrylic paintings, including her popular paintings of animals.”

McIntire was born in South Korea shortly after the Korean War. “Through those difficult times she gained an interest in art from her father and spent her free time painting in watercolor and oil,” the release said. “As an adult, her creative expression took the form of hair salon owner, cosmetology, and jewelry design. McIntire recently moved to Hot Springs from Seattle, Washington. Her biggest cheerleader is her husband, who encouraged her to pursue her passion by taking art classes. The joy she feels when painting is reflected in her watercolor and oil artworks.”
