Linda J. Sigman

-

Linda Joy Sigman went home to the Lord on Oct. 18, 2021.

She was born in Hot Springs, Ark., on Oct. 13, 1947, to Geneva F. Horne and James Vernon Horne, both of whom preceded her in death.

She passed away in Evelyn’s House, a hospice facility in St. Louis, Mo., with all of her family present.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, John Buddy Sigman; their daughter, Melissa Carroll; their son, John Sigman II; and their four grandchildren, Honor and Trace Carroll and Allie and Kate Sigman, all who live in St. Louis, Mo.

Also left behind are her sisters, Barbara Treybig and her husband Jerry of Boerne, Texas; Paulette Grill of Forest City, N.C.; a dear cousin who was like a sister, Tanda Dickerson Moore of Fort Worth, Texas.

Linda lived up to her middle name as she was a joy to be around. She never knew a stranger and was beautiful inside and out. Her smile was contagious. She was full of life and excited about the next adventure she was to embark on, whether it was decorating, cooking or shopping.

She loved to travel, whether it was flying to distant shores, cruising or trekking across the country in her Airstream. But as much as she enjoyed traveling, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Linda loved the Lord and gave herself to him and he showed her the path to peace. She will be dearly missed.

The family will hold two celebration of life ceremonies over the summer.
