Deaths in Arkansas by day
This table tracks the Arkansas Department of Health's daily count of new coronavirus deaths. Daily counts between Sept. 3, 2020 and July 8, 2021 combine new confirmed and probable covid-19 deaths, which the Health Department was then reporting separately. The count reflects the number of deaths reported on a given day, and does not necessarily reflect when the deaths occurred. The Health Department has made three major adjustments to the overall death toll: On Sept. 16, 2020, when 140 probable covid deaths were reported; on Feb. 28, 2021, when 174 deaths were subtracted because of a "data clean-up," and on Oct. 10, 2021, when 289 deaths were added because of a "data correction." Seven confirmed covid deaths were also reported on Sept. 16, 2020; the actual numbers of covid deaths on the other two dates are unknown.
