City board of directors election packets available

The Hot Springs Board of Directors 2022 election packets are now available for prospective candidates.

Qualified electors of the city can seek the at-large position of mayor or the seats for Districts 2, 4 and 5.

All candidates must have been a resident of the city for at least 30 days, must be 21 or older, a qualified elector of the city and, in the case of district-specific positions, reside in the jurisdiction to be represented.

The filing period opens at noon on Friday, July 29, and closes at noon on Friday, Aug. 19. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
