James A. Wright
GRANBURY, Texas — James Albert Wright (Jason) was born Dec. 10, 1946, and died May 3, 2022, at the age of 75.
He lived in Hot Springs and graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1964. His parents were James and Alberta Wright. He attended college at Henderson University and went on to receive electronic training that prepared him for a career in avionics, which he pursued for 40-plus years. He worked at Love Field in Fort Worth, Texas, in Florida and Mobile, Ala., from where he retired. He moved to Granbury, Texas, to be nearer to his daughter and grandchildren in Austin and his wife’s child.
He leaves behind his wife, Linda Wright, and her daughter, Nikki M. and son, Nathan, and her bonus daughters, Abbey and Alaina; Albert’s daughters, Michelle and Nikki K.; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Sydney; his best friends, Mark Smith and Jim Ashabranner; and many work friends through the years. The family resides at 107 Donna Circle, Granbury, TX 76049
A celebration service will be held from 2-5 p.m. CDT May 21 at Fairfield Inn and Suites, 4800 W. John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, TX 75063.
